“Everybody knows, it’s gonna be one of those, I can drink to that all night, That’s the stuff I like, That’s the kind of party makes you throw your hands up high” – Jerrod Niemann
Jerrod Niemann’s lyric definitely depicts what it is like to be at his concert. It’s a party that will go all night.
The party got started with up & comer, CJ Solar. The “Tall Boy” singer had the crowd pumped up from the second he stepped onstage. Being an opening act has its challenges, but Solar had everyone right there with him the whole time. Solar has a gritty sound and can belt out the lyrics. He’s a lot like Chris Stapleton with a twist of rock. Solar and his band completely got into the music. They were killing it on the stage, smoke shooting up from the stage, rocking to their own music. It’s nice to see artists do this. It makes a connection with the fans because you’re all on the same level.
The party only heated up with Niemann. He’s very personable and a lot of fun. He knows how to work the crowd. The “Shinin’ On Me” singer had the crowd singing along with every word. He included the fans in the music; from standing on the sides so that the side-stage could party along to naming the fans honorary band members. This show was one big party. Niemann and Solar might as well been standing right there beside us.
Be sure to check out CJ Solar and get Jerrod Niemann’s new single “God Made A Woman”. It’s one of my favorites, it’s a song every woman wants to hear.
